Dream It.

SCORE started with a challenge… to clean out our family garage. This task was made more difficult since my siblings and I are all athletes and had amassed a supply of old sports equipment that we had outgrown. The question was “What do we do with all this great equipment?” We realized that many others also had this issue. What did they do with their used sports equipment?

Build It.

SCORE started by first creating flyers to encourage others to drop off their used sports equipment to my house. If enough neighbors and friends donated sports equipment maybe we could find organizations in need and make a sizable donation to help others. We started researching rec programs and Boys and Girls Clubs in at-risk neighborhoods and realized we were on to something.

Grow It.

Today, we have donated thousands of pieces of equipment to those in need to support youth sports in low-income communities. Working together to improve the lives of kids who want to compete in sports but can’t afford new cleats or a new bat, has made a big difference in these communities. We continue to develop relationships with organizations that benefit from SCORE’s efforts.
